Los Angeles. Save the date. Femme Filth Fest and Bloodletter Magazine present TABOO FILM NIGHT, a one-night showcase and party celebrating the freshest, most exciting new voices in feminist horror.

Bloodletter is a feminist horror magazine showcasing personal and analytical perspectives on the horrific by women, trans, and nonbinary writers. Because women love horror!

Femme Filth Fest and Bloodletter Magazine are partnering on Taboo Film Night, a one-night showcase of films by women, trans, and nonbinary filmmakers that reject what’s socially acceptable.

Does your film:

• Make people squirm in their seats?

• Push the boundaries of horror?

• Blur the lines of what is acceptable?

• Is it chock-full of blood, guts, puke, sex or anything in between?

In short, is your film TABOO?

The showcase takes place on May 23rd, 2025, 7-10 PM at The Lee Strasberg Film & Television Institute’s stunning Marilyn Monroe Theatre in West Hollywood. Cash bar courtesy of El Cristiano Tequila.
